The Sage series represents Spyderco’s 30-year pledge to knife crafting and innovation. It consists of an ongoing series of identical designs featuring different, ingenious lock mechanisms. This model (Sage-1) recognizes knifemaker Michael Walker’s contribution to the knife industry with his creation of the LinerLock and ball bearing detent. Although made in Taiwan, the flat-ground blade is produced with USA-made CPM-S30V stainless steel. It is paired with handsome twill-woven carbon fiber handle scales and stainless steel liners. This exceptional design fits the hand perfectly, offering superior control and cutting performance. A reversible silhouette wire pocket clip supports left or right-hand tip-up carry and Spyderco's Trademark Round Hole ensures positive, ambidextrous, one-handed blade opening. The first in the Sage series, this design is destined to be a classic.
